Introducing the best Leaderboard API for creating gamified experiences

Want to create a gamified leaderboard to boost engagement on your product? Do you want to assign points and create an experience to showcase your most active users? At SmashSend, we just introduced the simplest-to-use gamified leaderboard API using our referral system.

Step 1: Create API key

First, let's get an API key, so you can use SmashSend API.

1. Go to your SmashSend account.
2. Click on any of your projects (or create one if you don't have)
3. Go to "Settings" -> "API key"
4. Click on "Create API key"

Step 2: Use the Leaderboard API

Once you have the API key, it's time to use the Leaderboard API

1. Go to SmashSend Dev documentation
2. Copy the URL to the leaderboard API: https://api.smashsend.com/v1/leaderboard?listId=PUT_YOUR_LIST_ID_HERE
3. Replace "PUT_YOUR_LIST_ID_HERE" by your project on ZooTools. It appears in the URL
4. Finally, create a GET request, and voila! You have a payload similar to this one:

Note: User data is obfuscated for privacy reasons

You'll notice the API returns data in an obfuscated way. We do this to avoid exposing any customer-sensitive data to the API.
